I read this Singaporean case where a child started calling the other names and then each told their mothers and the mothers started to get involved, until even the fathers started to fight each other, well almost, and the police had to be called.
Well, most Singaporeans live in HDB flats which are really tight places with not much privacy. Maybe the pressure got to the adults too, but I feel that when children tease each other, or even fight with each other, mildly, even if the children are siblings, the parents should not get involved.
Children are like this and I have seen many similar cases, where they fight today and get back together the following day, with the parents ended up as enemies! Of course, I am not going to judge who is in the right or who is in the wrong. I am not even trying to guess who is telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
Now, the children even have a phobia to leave their house or to attend school fearing that they will be confronted by the adults. I think this whole ordeal has been totally unnecessary.

I thought that things that happen in the United States will not faze me from all the reports that I have read and stories that my friends in the United States tell me. However, this news report that I just read is seriously shocking.
According to Time Magazine, 17 school girls in Massachusetts made a pact to get pregnant together so that they could give birth together and raise these babies together.

What is more screwed is that the fathers of these babies are all adults in their mid-twenties, including a 24-year-old homeless man. Tell me, how are these men going to financially support these girls and babies? Are they going to take the responsibilty at all? Don’t they even realise that they have raped these school girls?
Are there not enough homeless people and single-mothers in the United States? It is reported that this particular school has very good childcare and health care facilities. And it is also reported that this is not the first time school girls have gotten pregnant, just that this year, the number is highest. See, there must be something wrong with the way they educate children.
Frankly, it’s girls like these who make parents lose trust in their children. No matter how mature they think they are, they still have an immature mindset.
